What we have done

We specialise in documentaries, factual entertainment programmes, and love the cinema, history and cities.

Below are just some of the programmes and productions we’ve made -

For The History Channel we made “Charging Into History”, a one-hour long documentary looking at the growing popularity of historical recreation, and the challenges it poses to academic historians.  It proved a ratings winner, and subsequently was short-listed for the Longman-History Today Documentary Award.  It can be purchased from its distributor Journeyman Films, or from Amazon.

We have done a number of productions for Sky Movies, including programming and producing introductions for two month-long seasons of Westerns, the documentary “A Little Bit Of Beatlemania”, and the last major retrospective of the works of Stanley Kubrick shortly before his death, written and presented by Alexander Walker.

For BT Vision we produced their video-on-demand movie shows “Editor’s Choice” and “The Vision Show” – a fast-paced look at current hits, classic cinema, overlooked film gems, and everything else in the world of movies.

For TVNZ and Eclipse Records we made “Three From Three: The Alec Dankworth Trio In Concert”.  Corporate clients have included Oxbridge Academic Programs, The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, and Muddy Fox Bikes among others.

We look forward to further successes making programmes about topics we know and care about, and conveying this passion and knowledge to the audience.
